You occupy a rented space

You occupy a rented space.
I had not meant to advertise
But my hands are dipped in ink
And wrapped in alarm-clock red.

It casts such a sinister glow
Across your sleeping face
That I wonder if it conspires
Against your gravity.

You occupy a rented space.
Please render payment due.
