100x450 - 15 - it is almost a splendid dinner
It is a nice dinner. It is a splendid dinner. There is expensive red wine, and creamy mashed potatoes, and a solid beef rib roast, and also some roast potatoes. If there had been vegetarians present at this dinner then there would have been an equally splendid vegetarian main course, maybe some kind of hearty stew, or maybe everyone could compromise and have a nicely-sauteed salmon fillet.
However there are no vegetarians and there is no conversation and there is no warmth; there is only a dullness because where is the warmth when we have just lost someone we loved.
