100x450 - 08 - the loneliest cat in cold surburbia

They were a couple in their mid-twenties, young professionals fresh from vaguely prestigious undergraduate schools with vaguely prestigious degrees. By virtue of an excellent interview process, the husband found a position within one of the top investment banking firms in the world, and pronounced "finance" like "fin-ance" instead of "figh-nance." The wife was a second-year lawyer at a small but successful law firm, making a name for herself before moving on to a more renowned firm. She also pronounced "finance" like "fin-ance" and had once spit on a homeless person.

Consequently, when their cat left them, they had nothing left.
